Joining The Affiliate Program at CTBI - FAQs
We find ourselves as of this writing in an unprecedented environment - one in which most of our students cannot do bodywork. We also have many individuals in our CTBI community who are looking to us for assistance with their pain conditions, but are prohibited from seeing therapists in person.
Fortunately, CTBI has been known in the industry for many years as a premiere provider of online training programs. In the last year, we've developed some new offerings in the self-care space, teaching end-users how to care for some pain conditions on their own. This has never been more relevant than it is today.
In April of 2020, we decided to institute an affiliate program that would allow our customers to benefit by referring friends, clients and fellow therapists to our offerings. This is good for everyone, in that it makes new people aware of how to get help using CTB ideas, allows our community members to participate in a virtual economy while they are unable to work, and assists CTBI in getting our revolutionary ideas better known in the world.
Below are answers to some common questions about the program. If your questions aren't fully answered here, please use the chat box at the lower right and someone will reply as soon as we're available.
How much commission do I earn?
Commissions will vary by product. Normal commissions will be in the neighborhood of 15%. As a way of giving extra support to our students during this time, we're setting a commission of 20% on our self-care products.
How do I join the affiliate program?
When you log into the website, you will be taken to your Account Dashboard. On the lefthand side of your dashboard, you will see a link that allows you to enter your Affiliate Area. Otherwise, you can simply register here.
If you aren't currently an affiliate, you will see a short form to fill out which we will review before approving your affiliate role.
How do referrals work?
Once we have approved your registration as an affiliate, we will email you personalized affiliate links that can be used for our self-care courses. These links will provide your clients a special discount on their online training.
As an affiliate, you'll have a unique Affiliate ID that is available in your Affiliate Area. When in your Affiliate Area, you can generate a referral link for your clients from any link on our website. For example, our general website home page with your Affiliate ID (e.g. 123456) would look like this:
Once a contact has followed that link, any purchases of eligible products that they make for the next 14 days will be tracked and you will receive a commission.

How will I be paid?
We're using PayPal as our payout system. You will receive a payment notification from them. You do not need to be a PayPal member to receive payments.
How can I see who has purchased and what I'm owed?
Just log into the website and visit your Affiliate Area. From that page, you can track who has purchased, your pending payments, etc.
What's the best way to promote these products?
We've seen time and time again that the very best promotion is personal testimonial. In other words, instead of just posting a link to an online course on your Facebook or social media page, accompany it by a personal story about how this work has helped you or your clients. If you can send a personalized email, even better!
