CE HOURS: 17
Prerequisites: Level 1 and Hands Free 1
This class builds the student's repertoire of techniques from traditional Thai bodywork and other modalities with the goal of working with specific issues of pain and dysfunction. Many of the techniques are derived from the traditional northern style sequence as taught at the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, but taught in a unique sequence that teaches muscle realtionships and maximizes treatment effectiveness. We teach the traditional techniques as a means to achieving specific therapeutic benefits, with a depth of information about neuromuscular effects for each technique that is unmatched in the bodywork field. This course focuses on techniques and stretches for the lower body.
Along with the in-person course, you will receive an online course that will take you through the techniques you learned in class and will serve as a permanent resource. Repertoire trainings are primarily taught by CTB Master Practitioner, Doug Ringwald. Upon successful completion, the student receives a 17-hour certificate. This course provides 17 NCBTMB CE hours.
