In this Advanced Practitioner course, we add more detail to the Core Lower Body Protocol by covering the anatomy and treatment of additional muscles that contribute to pain and movement dysfunction. The muscles of the lower leg in this course include: gastrocs, extensor digitorum longus, extensor hallucis longus, peroneals, tibialis posterior, flexor digitorum longus and flexor hallucis longus. The additional hip muscles include: iliopsoas, pectineus, glute max, piriformis and obturator internus,
The knowledge and treatment options for the additional muscles add another layer of depth to the Core Lower Body Protocol. This will enable the practitioner to treat a wider range of lower body pain complaints - those encountered less often but that present regularly. Of equal if not greater importance, this training will refine ones ability to make treatment decisions and analyze referral/satellite referral reports within the Core Lower Body Protocol.
