Resolving Sciatica is Easy Once You Understand Where It Really Originates - I Can Teach You How

Build A Practice Your Clients Can't Stop Talking About – By Treating Pain At Its Origin.

Sciatica and hip pain is something that many people have for years, with no help in sight. I had to start from the ground up and understand the true sources of pain before I could be consistently successful at helping my clients.

Now I know how to do that – and I've put all my hard-won secrets from the last 18 years into an affordable online course that will change the course of your career and give you the satisfaction of truly helping people.

Treating pain isn't very difficult once you understand where it comes from. Unfortunately, the medical system and nearly all alternative practitioners are uninformed about the true origins of pain.

Hi - I'm Chuck Duff, Founder of Coaching The Body Institute.

Oddly enough, pain is a mystery to the medical profession. Our medical system is still in the middle ages in terms of understanding pain, which is why we have over 65,000 people a year dying of opiate overdose in the US. Pain is assumed by the medical establishment to always be a product of injury or disease, but this is just plain wrong.

I’m a trigger point therapist, and it has been demonstrated in repeated studies as well as my own 15 years of clinical experience that the vast majority of pain is from muscles that have developed trigger points.

I developed my own system by combining techniques from Thai massage and other modalities with trigger point therapy and modern neuroscience. It really works, and now my mission is to teach others this revolutionary approach.

Trigger Points: Extremely Common And Easily Addressed

Trigger points, which are actually responsible for most pain, are small areas of stagnation in muscle tissue that develop in response to chronic or acute stresses on muscles. Trigger point ideas are very powerful - but unfortunately, most students are taught trigger points in a way that is not very useful - or they don't learn it at all.  I call my system Trigger Point 2.0 because I teach it very differently than you might have learned in massage school.

Trigger points aren’t injuries – but they commonly send pain to other areas (pain referral) in a way that can be confusing and feel very much like an injury. This fools everyone – doctors, PTs, most practitioners.

While the pain can be severe, trigger points are fairly easy to correct. The techniques aren't difficult – what's important is knowing what muscles to treat and in what order. Our system combines the insights of modern neuroscience with a new take on trigger point therapy - and some extremely effective techniques and tools for putting these ideas into practice.

 Example: "Trochanteric Bursitis"

If  a client goes to the doctor with localized pain on the side of their hip, the doctor is very likely to tell them that they have "trochanteric bursitis". Meaning that a sac over a bone in their hip became inflamed for some unknown reason. Somehow, their body just broke.

It seems obvious and tempting to blame the problem on the structures and "injuries" near the site of the pain – however, this is almost never the true cause. And it's really a guess - the doctor isn't going to cut your hip open to see if the bursa is actually inflamed (and that is a good thing).

Pain for the most part comes from muscles. Trochanteric bursitis is often what Travell and Simons call a "garbage diagnosis". Medical people don't generally know that this type of pain is generally referred pain from a muscle, so they by default assume disease or injury at the site of the pain.

As CTB therapists, we know that the tensor fascia latae (TFL) muscle refers pain exactly to that area, and is generally what causes this pain. It's a muscle that tends to get overloaded during activities like walking when people have certain disturbed gait patterns.

We show you how to thoroughly treat the TFL in this course along with many other muscles that cause pain in this area. Like most muscles, the actual treatment isn't difficult. But you do need to understand how to treat each muscle as well as how to set yourself up properly to move the leg, which can be heavy. And most importantly, you have to understand the neurological "tricks" that will allow the muscle to give up its holding pattern.

Individual muscles are fairly easy to treat. The thing is, it’s very rarely about a single muscle. This is a core mistake that most therapists who know "a little trigger point therapy" make – they don't treat the related muscles that keep the TFL in dysfunction. For example, in this case adductor magnus is a key antagonist but very few therapists know they need to treat it in conjunction.

We understand these relationships and have incorporated them – along with our decades of clinical experience – into what we call our Sciatica and Hip Pain Core Protocol. In this course, you will be guided through an intelligent sequence, or protocol, that covers the muscles and relationships behind the vast majority of sciatic, hip and gluteal pain.

You will learn the satellite and functional muscle relationships that tend to promote dysfunction in the TFL, along with common perpetuating factors that are likely to set the whole thing in motion. This analysis is the key to giving people significant benefit in a single session, and keeping their pain from returning.

Sciatica can be disabling, and many come to our clinic having suffered needlessly for years. The sad part is that we consider sciatica and hip pain to be among the easiest complaints to address. These cases won't be scary or frustrating any longer when you're armed with true understanding.

Pain Hacker's Guide: The Sciatica and Hip Pain Protocol (eCourse)

This exciting new online course incorporates our decades of clinical experience in treating sciatic pain using my Coaching The Body™ method. This knowlege will transform your practice and make these cases easy for you to resolve. How cool is that?

We've distilled out the most important muscles and the best sequence to treat them in. More importantly, you learn how to use our analysis method to understand and resolve your clients' sciatic and hip pain at the source, not wasting your time on esoteric muscles that don't often contribute, or chasing so-called injuries, joint dysfunction, etc. when these aren't the issue

I've taught this approach to hundreds of students successfully at my school in Evanston, IL – and now all of my sciatica secrets are available to you in an affordable, online course - the cost of which you can recover in a session or two.

Meet Your Instructors

Your course has been designed by two respected teachers and practitioners with over 20 years of combined clinical experience helping clients with shoulder pain.

Chuck Duff

Chuck left a lucrative (but soul-sucking) career in software development to pursue training in traditional Thai massage. He opened his first clinic, Thai Bodywork, in 2001, and quickly became frustrated with the lack of of understanding in traditional methods for deep, long-term pain relief.

During his decades-long quest to understand the true nature of pain, he rediscovered the forgotten nuances of trigger point therapy, and realized he could integrate it with his training in Thai techniques. He developed Coaching The Body™ through years of research and clinical study, and has been teaching it since 2005.

Chuck's in-person and online teaching has now achieved international recognition as one of the most sophisticated and successful approaches in the world for treatment of pain and dysfunction.

Doug Ringwald

Doug was a yoga instructor (and a musician, and a graphic designer, and a soccer player) with chronic back pain. As long as he was practicing yoga, he wasn’t in pain.

But he found himself unable to help his students with their chronic and severe pain. He felt frustrated by his lack of knowledge in functional anatomy and kinesiology.

Doug explored a myriad of learning opportunities—but after a life-changing experience with Thai Bodywork, he decided to enroll in Chuck Duff’s Level I training program. And we still can’t get rid of him. 🙂

Three years later, Doug quit his job in digital publishing to become a full-time therapist and teacher. He’s been teaching alongside Chuck since 2014, and he now sees clients at his Highland Park clinic in addition to his training and curriculum development at CTBI.

I have had a shoulder issue for 2 1/2 yrs never went to dr. I have just been treating with massage therapy weekly with some relief, & added Rom but never seem to regain all my Rom w/o pain. OMGoodness I just self treated with Liberator & full Rom w/o pain Im absolutely amazed! keep checking it and it is gone w/ full Rom!
Thank You

Melissa Smith

The content of the course is very well presented from the anatomy to pain referral patterns. The demos are easy to follow. It is great to be able to go back and review the material as needed.

Diane Sawtell

This training has been one of the best investments I have made. And I’m not even halfway through my training! I highly recommend it if you’re considering it.

Why I'm Offering You A Huge Discount For The Next Few Days

I want you to have and use this knowledge, because my mission is to change the way that pain is understood and treated in our society. The best way for me to achieve that is to create a movement of highly effective Pain Hackers - so I'm offering you an incredible value on this course. The CEs alone are worth much more than what I'm asking you to pay.

I'm opening this fantastic course for the next 3 days at a fantastic price: less than $200. Once you purchase, you will have permanent 24/7 streaming access to the videos, and can review them at any time. This launch offer won't be coming back.

What's it worth to you to be able to consistently get results with sciatica and hip pain? This type of pain can be crippling. People stop moving, exercising, sleep is compromised and a downward spiral begins.

I'm thinking right now about a client who had 9 back surgeries, was on an electronic pain implant, and had a stack of medical records a foot high. I was doubtful that I would be able to help her at all. In spite of all that, she wrote me the next day and told me after one session that I had reduced her sciatic pain pattern by more than 80%, and other practitioners had only made her pain worse. She was incredibly grateful. And I am too.

Do this now. This is how we are going to change the world and its illusions about pain. Please join us and become the Pain Hacker that all of your clients are raving (and telling their friends) about.

I look forward to seeing you in the training!
